This policy explains how account deletion works in Movari, what data is removed, and your rights regarding data deletion. Movari is operated by Radical App Foundry.
1. How to Delete Your Account
You can delete your account in two ways:
- In-app deletion (recommended): If you have access to the app, go to Profile → Settings → Delete Account. This permanently deletes your account and associated data from our active systems.
- Manual request: If you cannot access the app, use the form at the bottom of this page to submit a deletion request. Our team will verify your request via email and process it within 7 business days.
2. What Gets Deleted
When you delete your account, we permanently and promptly delete your account and associated personal data from our active Firebase systems, including:
- Your Firebase Authentication account and login credentials
- Your user profile (name, age, sex, height, weight, fitness goals, and preferences)
- Workout logs, routines, exercises, and related activity records
- Nutrition data, meals, calories, macros, water intake, and meal plans
- Progress data, including weight history, body measurements, mood check-ins, streaks, and XP
- All files in your Firebase Storage folder, including meal photos, progress photos, and profile photos
- Support tickets linked to your account
- Your RevenueCat customer record (deleted via our server when you delete your account)
⚠️ This action cannot be undone
Account deletion is permanent. Once deleted, you cannot recover your data, progress, or account. Please ensure you want to proceed before confirming deletion.
3. Optional Deletion Feedback
During account deletion, you may optionally select a reason for leaving. If you do:
- We may retain only a de-identified reason category (for example
privacy or expensive) and the date.
- We do not retain your name, email, account identifier, or any free-text explanation.
- This information is used only for product improvement and is not used for marketing.
If you do not select a reason, no deletion feedback is retained.
4. Subscriptions
Movari Pro subscriptions are tied to your Apple ID or Google account, not your Movari account email. Deleting your Movari account does not automatically cancel an active Apple App Store or Google Play subscription.
To cancel a subscription, manage it through your app store account settings before or after deleting your Movari account.
5. Processing Time
- In-app deletion: Your account and data are deleted promptly from our active systems once you confirm deletion in the app.
- Manual requests: Processed within 7 business days after email verification.
For manual requests, you will receive a confirmation email once your account deletion is complete.
6. Your Rights
- Right to deletion: You have the right to request deletion of your account and personal data at any time.
- Right to information: You have the right to know what data is deleted and what (if anything) is retained.
- Right to access and correction: You can request a copy of your data or correct inaccurate profile information by contacting us before deletion.
7. Data Retention After Deletion
After account deletion, the following limited exceptions may apply:
- De-identified deletion feedback: If you selected a reason category during deletion, only that category and the date may be retained — no personal identifiers.
- Third-party providers: Some data processed by third-party services may be retained under their own policies. This includes:
- Google Gemini — meal photos and text sent for AI analysis may be retained by Google under Google's API terms. We do not control Google's retention of inference data.
- Firebase / Google Cloud — server logs, error logs, and infrastructure backups may retain residual data for a limited period under Google's provider policies.
- Legal and security obligations: We may retain limited records where required by law, to resolve disputes, enforce our terms, or prevent fraud and abuse.
There is no post-deletion retention of meal photos or progress photos in our active systems.
8. While Your Account Is Active
Meal photos linked to food log entries older than 180 days are automatically deleted from storage via a scheduled weekly cleanup. The food log entry itself (without the image) may be retained. This cleanup only runs while your account exists.
Request Account Deletion (If You Cannot Access the App)
If you cannot access the app to delete your account, you can submit a manual deletion request below. Our team will verify your request via email and process it within 7 business days.
